Reflective Assignments

For every chapter, students were required to not only be tested on the material but also reflectively engage the material -- including my commentaries.  Dr Conradsen and I built the assignments to give space for the students' experiences to be validated and to critically engage with the sociocultural intersections brought up in my videos.

For each chapter, I created a 10-15 minute commentary to supplement the academic material.  These discussions would typically surround privilege, gender or other sociocultural factors.
